SKY Schools is partnering with Dr. K.J.S. Anand from Stanford University School of Medicine to test the efficacy of the SKY SEL curriculum on 7th grade children. The study, "Research on the Structural Racism, Social Injustice and Health Disparities in Maternal and Child Health", will use novel biomarkers of childhood wellness to assess that impact of SKY Schools on stress, social isolation, and racial discrimination experienced by 12-14 year old children in early adolescence.
I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out the way SKY Schools are transforming our community through its work with parents, educators, and children, I wanted to be a part of it.
That's why I created a fundraiser to support SKY Schools. This campaign will raise money to expand SKY School programs —and you can be a part of it.
