Appeal for Nepal Flood Relief
On August 26th flash floods swept across the Nepal–China border, sending a surge of floodwater and debris through riverside homes and infrastructure, sweeping away entire communities.Hundreds are dead and more than 1,300 are missing, with power and communications down and rescue teams struggling to reach areas cut off across steep, mountainous terrain.
IAHV in partnership with the Art of Living team will will be providing material relief and trauma support for families, including children facing unimaginable loss. Plans include long term programs to help communities rebuild livelihoods.
