Project Oasis aims to address water crisis in rural India. Approximately 97 Million People don't have access to drinking water throughout the country. 185,000+ Children Under age 5, die every year due to lack of clean water. With 6% of country's population & only 1% of water, Rajasthan is among worst affected. Women often have to walk several miles to fetch drinking water in hot sun. Agriculture is severely impacted due to lack of water. In a country like India where vast majority of people depend on agricultural income are forced to live in harsh economic conditions with minimum of no water.

All of this with average 16 inch rain fail every year because most of the rain water is not utilized properly and just drains away. It doesn't help enough to recharge underground water resources. Project Oasis is building mini check dams at vary strategic locations which ensure year round water availability and recharge of water wells. Our on-ground partner has built 350+ checks dams so far and has transformed life of 400,000+ people in 300 villages across Western and Central India.
